I love anything historical. My favorite book of all time is "Devil in the White City" by Erik Larson. I also like stuff by Haruki Murakami, Tracy Chevalier, and the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris. Currently trying to get back into reading again.

I also love anything by Michel Gondry, Sofia Coppola, Hayao Miyazaki, Wong Kar Wai, Tim Burton and Wes Anderson. Other favorites include: Inception, Black Swan, Tron: Legacy, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo(David Fincher's version), Belle de Jour, Badlands, Breathless, Rosemary's Baby, Amelie, A Very Long Engagement, The Wizard of Oz, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Science of Sleep, 2046, KiKi's Delivery Service, Eyes Without a Face, House of Flying Daggers, Cat people/Curse of the Cat People(B&W version), Alice in Wonderland and many many more...
