***Just FYI, my small town post office in VA does not postmark mail. It is sent to a facility in Tennessee and postmarked. So the postmark date will possibly differ by a day or two from the date I marked sent :). I always mark swaps sent the day I drop the mail in the slot at the post office.
Hello! I'm a mom of 2 girls! (Hence the username). I've been married to the love of my life since Sept. 2019. I earned my M.Ed Aug 2021.
I'm a middle school algebra teacher
I'm a northerner who lives in the south, in a small town in the mountains. I miss my maryland blue crabs smothered with old bay (mm) and having the Chesapeake bay in my backyard. But I do love the quiet, small town I'm raising my family in!

Things that will always make me happy in swaps:

ā¢ anything with books on it or reading (but please not bookmarks I'm drowning in them)
ā¢ fantasy themes
ā¢ the beach, especially crabs and mermaids
ā¢ letter sticks, must include the letters s l a m f o r b y, if not all 26
ā¢ 90's themes
ā¢ washi
ā¢ double sided lined stationary
ā¢ envelopes that aren't plain white (id love decorated, handmade, etc)
ā¢ I'm a slam swapper so if you happen to have any of those, send them along!
ā¢ thinner ephemera to make slam and decorate slam covers with!
Feel free to send things not necessarily on my likes list, as long as its not from my dislikes :). I am not a picky person and am grateful for anything I receive in swap-bot swaps!
Dislikes
Anything horror, gory, vulgar, dark. I'm not a fan of starwars or anything similar. Skulls freak me out, so those are always on my please don't send me list. I don't like tea, coffee, or soda. (I know what youre thinking, what do I even drink.... water and lemonade ;) ) I am a teacher but please no teacher stickers. I have plenty! No bookmarks please, I already have 8 million.
Penpalling/swapping
I enjoy penpalling with those who write long, chatty letters :). I am also a big slam swapper!
No Worries!
If I ever for some reason send you something that owes postage on it, please let me know right away! I don't anticipate this happening as I am OCD and weight things ten times to make sure I'm absolutely right, but things happen!
Same goes if you just don't get a swap from me or there seems to be an issue with a swap! Let me know, so we can resolve it. I am happy to resend if necessary.

I just had to tell you real quickā¦ I just got your Happy Mail tonight , and ā¦ I have to be transparent here ā¦. I was LITERALLY the ā”ļøENTIRE KEYBOARDā¬ ļø āS worth of Emojis, lol. Literallyā¦ Iām reading it like ; (and I kid you not,)
āā¦šā¦š¤Ŗā¦š¤£ā¦š±ā¦.š³ā¦.š©šššā¦š„³ā¦.šā¦šā¦š¤Æā¦šā¦š„°š„°ā¦ā lololol. Legit. It happened lol.
I was SO engrossed in the letter - that ā¦ (Once again - being transparent for the sake of - wellā¦. Whatās the point of writing letters if NOT to be completely 100% real & sincere, rightā¦? Lol - I meanā¦ Pretending Life is Perfectā¦. well thatās what Instagram is for, lol; soā¦. Here goes the Next Part!! Lolā¦.
So - like I was saying, TOTALLY wrapped up in the letter; somehow DID NOT even notice ā¦. That I started bleeding š©ø on my BRAND NEW , literally NEVER BEFORE WORN, Fashion Nova 2-piece āleggings style pant & sports bra - kinda topā ā¦ well ā¦ obvi the top didnāt end up a casualty - thatād be really odd; Or maybe whoever could do THAT would just be crazy TALENTED, lol, but !
The pants in question - OF COURSE, they were NOT blackā¦. They were - in fact, a very light Grey color, and YES - they did, in fact, BLEED ALL THE WAY THRUā¦ ššš - that being said ā¦. The lack of awareness of WTF was literally going on just like ā¦. 1 1/2 feet south from where I was holding up the Letterā¦. Should be a compliment - lol ; everything was totally āPerfectā & SOOO relatable and totally RIGHT UP MY ALLEYā¦.
Enough so that it totally didnāt dampen my mood to bad - in response to the Fashion Collateral Damage, lolol. The last thing I had to mention - was ,,, for the FIRST TIME since I was in literal High School (lol) I was way too āinvestedā in the Letter to sit on it for a day or two, or to even be bothered with Mom Duties AT ALL, whatsoever - so I LITERALLY immediately started up your Response -lol- and worked on it for say ā¦. Well for about a solid 26 minutes before I was denigrated to the Kitchen to slice up a āCucumber, Grape & Tajinā snack (my girlsā fave,) lol. Just had to tell you ā¦.. !! You super inspired me too - love that - Iām going to PUT IN some serious āthe girls JUST fell deep enough into sleep that I can ACTUALLY tiptoe around without them stirringā kinda Timing / Effort into what I have planned to be heading your way soon, Okay ..!!? Youāre Awesome, seriously ! ā¤ļø
Hey! ā¤ļø Iām (also) a mommy to two daughters ā¦. And Iām looking for New Swappers (mainly Slams! But also a bit of Bags, Xslips, Decos, Lyrix, and a Cram or FB here and there ā¦!) (one of my stress relieving activity is churning out handfuls of super creative and unique slams , lolā¦.. I penpalled from the 4th grade until senior year of high school , alongside my BFF Michelle - and Slams were ALWAYS our thing, lol. But I just recently got back into letter writing - and ā¦. Sadly, most of my Pen Friends donāt swap or have any clue what a āFriendship Bookā is ā¦ [I googled āfinding a Pen Pal 2022ā and found a couple websites with great databases of User - Submitted Contacts with Biosā¦. Non-Incarcerated Personsā¦. And I found only 2 on the entirety of the sites who mentioned knowing what an FB was {besides pertaining to FaceBook lol} and - 1 of them no longer swaps because none of her current Pals doā¦! Ughā¦.. PenPalling for me was seriously an enjoyment and entertaining due to 50% Letters {Writing and Reading} and 50% Swapping! So what a DISAPPOINTMENT it was for me to get back into the swing of things ā¦. And come to find - I thought that Swapping FBs had sadly gone the way āof the DoDo Bird,ā seriously ! {lol} That was until I found this site - and originally I had thought it was the classic , standard āSwapping with PenPallingā typical Slam/FB swap - but quickly realized it was entirely something else ā¦. Only after about 2 weeks of membership on here - did I FINALLY see something related to FBsā¦ lolā¦ but since then, Iāve been trying to reach out to the odd , random Person who mentions them ā¦! Soā¦. Sorry for the ramble ! Just wanted to give you a lil backstory , lol , but Iād love to swap / write with you ā¦!? If you wanted to PM me your address - Iād gladly send the Firstā¦!? ššššā¤ļø
